Two health systems have transitioned their enterprise resource planning applications to the Oracle cloud.

Kalispell, Mont.-based Billings Clinic-Logan Health standardized finance, human resources, supply chain and customer service with Oracle Fusion.

The platform streamlined a “patchwork of legacy systems,” reducing administrative burden for clinicians and enabling the organization to “take advantage of the latest AI innovations to enhance operational efficiency,” CIO Justin Ott said in a Dec. 15 news release.

Children’s Hospital Los Angeles also moved its finance, human resources, supply chain and customer service applications to a single suite in the Oracle cloud. This approach helps the organization “respond swiftly to evolving patient needs” and quickly adopt AI, stated Chief Applications Officer Ben Sykes.

The two health systems also use Oracle Health EHRs and the company’s clinical AI tools.
