Aetna Acquires Healthagen, Maker of Mobile App iTriage

Aetna has acquired Healthagen, the developer of mobile application iTriage, according to a Denver Post report.

iTriage helps patients find information on their symptoms, possible causes and options for local care.

“Aetna really likes the culture we’ve built and wants us to continue to grow the company. They’re providing the resources to grow it much faster than we would have otherwise,” Healthagen co-founder Peter Hudson said in the report.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
