Accumen, a company focused on a laboratory transformation, hired Andrew Azan to serve as senior vice president of sales.

1. Mr. Azan previously served as executive vice president of business strategy for The Risk Authority Stanford, a risk consulting firm.
2. The Risk Authority Stanford has its roots in the hospital risk management department serving the Stanford (Calif.) University School of Medicine, Stanford Health Care and Stanford Children's Health.
3. Mr. Azan has also worked as area vice president for Hill-Rom, a medical technologies provider.
