The Massachusetts Health Data Consortium added 4medica, a provider of data and technology leveraging solutions, as an executive member.
The consortium, a nonprofit, has facilitated collaboration among healthcare stakeholders, including payers, providers, state and federal agencies, individuals and technology companies, in Massachusetts since 1978.
4medica will provide the consortium with expertise in clinical data integration and patient identity matching capabilities. The company offers the Big Data MPI and ClinXdata Clinical Data Exchange platform that enables patient identity management and interoperable data exchange.
"We look forward to the insight 4medica leaders will bring to our members and health technology leaders, for whom health data exchange and interoperability are top priorities," said Denny Brennan, executive director of the Massachusetts Health Data Consortium.
