HIMSS has announced the four winners of its 2014 Nicholas E. Davies Award of Excellence, which goes to organizations that have used health IT to improve patient outcomes while receiving a return on investment. This is the largest number of winners of the Davies Enterprise Awards since the award began in 1996.
The four winners are:
- Lakeland Healthcare (St. Joseph, Mich.)
- El Hospital Marina Salud de Denia (Spain)
- Truman Medical Center (Kansas City, Mo.)
- University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics (Iowa City)
