The National Record Locator Service allows members to quickly locate and exchange patient records. Currently, the service provides access to nearly 230 million patients and information regarding more than four billion interactions between the patients and their care teams.
Additionally, NRLS allows members to respond more easily to clinical data requests, as it automatically retrieves documents from the EHR system. The service operates within the Carequality Interoperability Framework, which is nationwide.
