10 digital health startups to compete at SXSW's Impact Pediatric Health

Ten digital health startups will participate in the third annual Impact Pediatric Health on March 13.

Impact Pediatric Health, a pitch competition at the Austin, Texas-based film and conference festival South by Southwest, offers the CEOs of its 10 finalists three minutes to pitch how their startup is solving pediatric health issues. There are two $15,000 prizes at the event.

Here are the 10 digital health and medical device finalists.

  • Astarte Medical Partners (Ewing, N.J.)
  • CareDox (New York City)
  • Cast21 (Champaign, Ill.)
  • emojiHEALTH (Toronto, Canada)
  • EpiBiome (San Francisco)
  • Force Impact Technologies (Gilbert, Ariz.)
  • Keriton (Philadelphia)
  • Luminopia (Cambridge, Mass.)
  • Metamason (Los Angeles)
  • Neuroelectrics (Cambridge, Mass.)

The competition is hosted by eight U.S. children's hospitals: Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Boston Children's Hospital, Cincinnati Children's Hospital, Children's Hospital Los Angeles, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Seattle Children's Hospital, Stanford (Calif.) Children's Health and Texas Children's Hospital in Houston.
