Through the partnership, UW Health will roll out a new video consultation service powered by American Well. The telehealth initiative will allow patients to connect with physicians from off-site locations, without having to visit a UW Health facility.

The service, which will be launched later this year, will be available to employees of UW Health. This initial rollout will be followed by a direct-to-patient video consultation program.
