Dallas-based UT Southwestern Medical Center and Children’s Health received a $100 million gift from The Stephens Greth Foundation to support their $5 billion joint pediatric campus.
The campus, which is projected to open in 2031, is under construction across from UT Southwestern’s William P. Clements Jr. University Hospital in Dallas’ Southwestern Medical District, according to an April 1 news release. Once complete, the campus will include Moody Children’s Hospital, spanning more than 4.9 million square feet and 552 beds across three towers.
A tower at the new Moody Children’s Hospital will be named Stephens Greth Tower, according to the release. The tower will connect to Clements University Hospital via a skybridge linking its expanded Maternal Fetal Health Center to Moody Children’s Hospital.
UT Southwestern and Children’s Health have secured multiple nine-figure gifts for the project, including a grant from the Moody Foundation announced in May, as well as $100 million gifts from the Pogue Foundation in May 2024 and The Rees-Jones Foundation in October 2024.
