USDA grants $13.6M to South Dakota hospital for remodel

Martin, S.D.-based Bennett County Hospital has been granted $13,602,000 by the U.S. Department of Agriculture to upgrade its facility, the Rapid City Journal reported Aug. 30.

The upgrades will include a new emergency room, patient and visitor entrance, patient rooms, as well as renovations to the physical therapy, lab and outpatient services areas.

The facility will remain on the hospital’s current site.
