University of Mississippi Medical Center opens $15M heart center

University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson opened University Heart, a $15 million diagnostic and treatment facility.

The three-story heart center offers the full-range of heart care services, and it includes nine pre-procedure holding bays, 17 post-procedure private rooms, two electrophysiology laboratories and three cardiovascular catheterization laboratories. It also includes rooms for outpatient or overnight-stay cardiovascular procedures.
