Since launching in 2017, THIC has earned $126 million with an average quality score of 93 percent, Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity said in an Aug. 25 news release. The ACO now operates in nine states.
Other Trinity Health ACOs in Michigan, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Iowa also contributed to successful outcomes. Together with the THIC ACO, they coordinate care for more than 255,000 Medicare beneficiaries, according to the health system.

In 2022, Trinity’s MSSP ACOs ranged from upside-only to enhanced two-sided financial risk arrangements representing the most significant risk in MSSP tracks.
