The 45-bed hospital will end obstetrics services and close its emergency room Aug. 31, according to the Post-Intelligencer. The hospital will end surgical services Sept. 3.
In late July, Brentwood, Tenn.-based Quorum Health, McKenzie Regional’s parent company, entered a definitive agreement to sell the hospital to Memphis-based Baptist Health Care. Once McKenzie Regional closes, Baptist Health Care will operate the facility as an outpatient diagnostic imaging center and sleep center.
