Under the agreement, Quorum will sell McKenzie Regional Hospital to Memphis-based Baptist Memorial Health Care.
Officials expect to complete the transaction by the end of the third quarter of 2018, subject to regulatory approval.
The sale of McKenzie Regional was among several discussed under a letter of intent during the company’s first quarter 2018 earnings call.
