Tennessee-Based IASIS Healthcare Reports $30M Loss for Quarter

IASIS Healthcare, which owns or leases 15 acute-care hospitals and one behavioral health facility, with a total of 2,853 beds, reported a net loss of $30 million for the fourth quarter compared to the same period last year, according to a release from IASIS Healthcare.

The Franklin, Tenn.-based company reported that adjusted admissions rose 4.7 percent and net patient revenue per adjusted admission rose 8.2 percent in the fourth quarter.

IASIS recorded a non-cash charge of $64.6 million for the impairment of goodwill related to its Florida market.
