According to Mr. Nelson, around 70 percent of the company’s revenue comes from emergency room staffing. Approximately 22 percent of the patients seen by TeamHealth’s emergency physicians are uninsured, and the company receives an average payment of $35 from them per visit. Under the PPACA, Mr. Nelson expects that $35 average payment to increase as more people get insured.

TeamHealth’s shares have traded in a range of approximately $21 to $39 in the last year, and they could trade as high as $60 in the coming year, according to Mr. Nelson.
