Suburban Hospital to soon begin $230M expansion

Suburban Hospital in Bethesda, Md., will break ground on a $230 million expansion project in October, according to a report by The Gazette.

The expansion is expected to replace 10 houses owned by the hospital with a four-story, 235,597-square-foot addition, a parking garage and 1,280 parking lot spaces.

The parking garage is expected to open in 2017, and the building addition is slated to open in 2019, according to the report.
