East Tennessee Children’s Hospital begins construction of $75M expansion

East Tennessee Children’s Hospital in Knoxville, broke ground on a $75 million expansion, according to a 6 ABC News report.

The five-story, 245,000-square-foot facility will feature a 44-bed, private-room neonatal intensive care unit, a new surgery center, two levels of parking and family areas, such as rooftop gardens.

Construction is expected to be complete by 2016, according to the report.
