Through the partnership, the uninsured and patients with high-deductible health plans can use MDsave to pay for medical procedures at Seton through bundled payments, George Fayer, the hospital’s CFO, told the Killeen Daily Herald.

That means the hospital bill, radiology bill, surgeon’s bill, anesthesia bill, lab test billing or other bills associated with certain procedures would all be paid at once at a discount, he added. This discount could potentially be 40 to 60 percent off preventative, routine or urgent care medical procedures.

Mr. Fayer also told the Killeen Daily Herald MDSave offers financing for bills more than $2,000 and up to $35,000.
