The Seton Medical Center at The University of Texas will feature 211 beds. The hospital will replace University Medical Center Brackenridge, which was constructed in the 1970s. Seton has committed $245 million for the construction of the hospital and plans to raise $50 million in philanthropy.
The hospital is slated to open in 2017.
