The upgrade is based on several factors, including the medical center’s strong business position, healthy market share and favorable revenue diversity.
“The rating further reflects our expectations that Renown’s balance sheet metrics will remain strong and intact over the outlook horizon. While operating margin has declined over the past year, we expect Renown will maintain stable and healthy operating performance going forward,” said S&P credit analyst Melanie Her.
The outlook is stable.
