S&P upgrades Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare’s rating to ‘AA-‘

S&P Global Ratings has raised the long-term and underlying ratings on Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and Affiliates to “AA-” from “A+.”

“The upgrade reflects Methodist’s strong enterprise profile, leading market share in its service area and maintained improved operating profile,” said S&P credit analyst Margaret McNamara.

The outlook is stable.
