S&P assigns ‘AA-‘ rating to Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital’s bonds

Standard & Poor’s Ratings Services has assigned an “AA-” long-term rating to the California Health Facilities Financing Authority’s series 2016A and series 2016B revenue bonds issued on behalf of Palo Alto, Calif.-based Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital.

The rating assignment is based on a number of factors, including LPCH’s strong enterprise profile, strong financial profile and its relationship with Stanford (Calif.) University.

The outlook is stable.
