S&P assigns ‘A-‘ rating to Evangelical Community Hospital

S&P Global Ratings assigned its “A-” rating to Lewisburg, Pa.-based Evangelical Community Hospital’s series 2018B and 2018C revenue bonds.

The assignment is based on several factors, including ECH’s favorable operating margins, good cash flow generation and healthy balance sheet metrics.

The outlook is stable, reflecting the hospital’s consistent operating income and solid unrestricted reserves.
