S&P assigns ‘A+’ rating to El Camino Hospital’s bonds

S&P Global Ratings assigned an “A+” rating to Mountain View, Calif.-based El Camino Hospital’s series 2016A bonds.

S&P also affirmed the “A+” rating on ECH’s series 2015A bonds.

“The ratings reflect our assessment of ECH’s exceptional operating margins, abundant unrestricted reserves for the rating, considerable tax support and favorable economic fundamentals in the operating environment,” said S&P analyst Brian Williamson.

The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P’s view of ECH’s strong financial profile and favorable service area characteristics.
