S&P also affirmed the “A+” rating on ECH’s series 2015A bonds.
“The ratings reflect our assessment of ECH’s exceptional operating margins, abundant unrestricted reserves for the rating, considerable tax support and favorable economic fundamentals in the operating environment,” said S&P analyst Brian Williamson.
The outlook is stable, reflecting S&P’s view of ECH’s strong financial profile and favorable service area characteristics.
