Remedy Partners reduces unnecessary medical costs by $500M through bundled payment program

Darien, Conn.-based Remedy Partners, a provider of value-based care services, witnessed a 6.1 percent reduction in hospital readmissions in the past 12 months as part of its bundled payment platform.

The improvement, in addition to a 6.3 percent decrease in skilled nursing facility length of stay, led to Remedy Partners’ $500 million reduction in cost of unnecessary medical expenses during the 12-month period.

More than 1,000 healthcare locations across 43 states are involved in the company’s bundled payment program.
