PwC is collaborating with Amazon Web Services on an initiative aimed at transforming how healthcare organizations manage and enhance their revenue cycle operations.

The collaboration will make PwC’s revenue cycle managed services available on AWS, and the companies will build new AI agents and tools that can help healthcare organizations improve financial performance, streamline operations and enhance the patient financial experience, according to a Nov. 25 PwC news release.

The partnership allows PwC to utilize AWS’ services to deploy advanced AI agents powered by model choice capabilities, according to the release. This will allow clients to “select the right foundation models for their specific revenue cycle challenges, delivering a smarter, faster, and more adaptive solution that addresses labor shortages, reimbursement pressures and rising technology costs while reducing administrative burden.”

“The combination of PwC’s operational expertise with AWS’s advanced AI services can help organizations reduce administrative burden in healthcare financing and billing and focus more resources on improving patient care and healthcare outcomes,” PwC Global & US Managed Services Leader Tim Canonico said in the release.
