Payer Compass acquires Innovative Medical Risk Management

Payer Compass, a healthcare reimbursement technology provider, has completed the purchase of its long-time partner Innovative Medical Risk Management in a move to expand its pricing services.

   Payer Compass offers reference-based pricing and reimbursement solutions for self-insured employers, third-party administrators, Medicare Advantage plans and commercial payers, among others.

“IMRM has tremendous experience and expertise with patient advocacy, balance-billing support and medical management services,” said Payer Compass President and CEO Greg Everett. “This acquisition will allow the companies to expand and more closely integrate the services they offer to health plans.”

By combining billing and advocacy expertise, the companies aim to provide clients with solutions to establish effective cost containment strategies and fair pricing for care services.
