The 43-bed facility reopened in 2021 after shuttering for three years. In January 2023, the hospital was forced to quell online rumors of closure after a volley of complaints led to the closure of its laboratory and relocation of laboratory services to Norman (Okla.) Regional Hospital.

Aaron Wallace, business office manager for Valley Community Hospital, told Garvin County News Star that the closure will “hopefully” be temporary.

“We’ll just have to see how things go, financially,” he said. “I don’t have any other information I can share at this time.”

Becker’s has reached out to Valley Community Hospital for comment and will update this story should more information become available.
