While Oregon Health & Science had its “AA-” credit rating affirmed, the outlook was revised to negative.

The two-hospital system had operating revenue of $3.3 billion for the nine months ending March 31, S&P said in the report.

While the system has “financial flexibility,” it also has what S&P described as an “ambitious capital strategy.” Oregon Health & Science is building a new 14-story patient tower in Portland.
