Skanska, OHSU sign $111M contract to further expand Portland hospital

Oregon Health & Science University has signed a $111 million contract amendment with New York City-based Skanska USA for the system’s hospital expansion project in Portland.

The contract, which includes patient floors, parking, a multimodal hub bus stop and three pedestrian sky bridges, is part of the 14-story hospital expansion.

Building began in 2022, and the improved hospital is expected to open to patients in 2026 in an expanded 538,000-square-foot property.
