Ohio system strikes RCM partnership

Sandusky, Ohio-based Firelands Health has struck a revenue cycle management agreement with Ensemble Health Partners. 

“We are excited to partner with Ensemble and gain insight with their expertise and technological innovation in the revenue cycle industry,” Firelands CFO Kevin Riley said in a June 17 Ensemble news release. “Our strategic partnership supports our mission of improving the health and well-being of our community by providing the best medical care.” 

The health system consists of the Firelands Regional Medical Center, the Firelands Physician Group and the recently acquired Bellevue (Ohio) Hospital.  

Ensemble manages end-to-end revenue cycle operations for 28 health systems nationwide, according to the release. The company now manages $40 billion in annual net patient revenue.
