The tool, called the Roadmap for Driving High Performance in Alternative Payment Models “contains key insights, promising practices and the most current strategies for designing and implementing successful APMs, delivered via an interactive, intuitive web experience,” the tool’s website says.
The roadmap includes insights from payers and providers who have successfully used the payment models.
The tool was launched by the Health Care Payment Learning & Action Network, a public-private partnership created by HHS in 2015 to speed healthcare’s transition to a model that pays providers for quality care, better health and lower costs..
