The upgrade is a result of South Miami-based Baptist Health South Florida’s acquisition of Bethesda Healthcare System, which also transfers debt obligations to BHSF.

The outlook is negative, reflecting Moody’s expectation that BHSF will continue to see operating challenges as it integrates Bethesda Healthcare System into BHSF.
