Moody's assigns 'A1' rating to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's bonds

Moody's Investors Service has assigned an "A1" rating to Boston-based Dana-Farber Cancer Institute's proposed $238 million of series N bonds to be issued through the Massachusetts Development Finance Agency.

The rating assignment is based on Dana-Farber's strong working partnerships with other academic institutions and prominent market position in the field of cancer research and treatment.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody's Investors Service's expectation that Dana-Farber will continue to translate its leading reputation in cancer research into strong revenue and resource growth.

Moody's Investors Service has also affirmed the "A1" ratings on Dana-Farber's $233 million of outstanding revenue bonds.
