Moody’s affirms Greenville Health System’s ‘A1’ rating

Moody’s Investors Service affirmed the “A1” rating on Greenville (S.C.) Health System’s $500 million of rated debt.

The rating affirmation is based on a number of factors, including GHS’ stable market position and solid growth in recent years. GHS also faces numerous challenges, including weakened financial performance and balance sheet measures.

The outlook is stable, reflecting Moody’s Investors Service’s expectation that GHS’ performance will not weaken further.
