Moody’s Investors Service affirmed its “Baa2” for Winthrop-University Hospital Association, which does business as NYU Winthrop Hospital in Mineola, N.Y.

The rating reflects Moody’s expectation that the hospital’s financial performance will continue to improve as volume and acuity levels trend upward.

The rating outlook is stable.
