For-profit hospital stock report: Week of March 4-8

Four major for-profit hospital operators saw their stock prices fall last week.

Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare saw the greatest decrease, at 9.9 percent.

Here’s how the operators stacked up as of March 8:

  • Community Health Systems (Franklin, Tenn.): $4.64 per share (down 7 percent)
  • HCA Healthcare (Nashville, Tenn.): $124.74 per share (down 9.9 percent)
  • Tenet Healthcare (Dallas): $27.17 per share (down 7.6 percent)
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $129.19 per share (down 8.2 percent)
