The affirmation is a result of the health system’s continued efforts to stabilize operating performance as well as its strong market position. Moody’s also favorably viewed the benefits of a turnaround plan Christus Health employed at Longview, Texas-based Good Shepherd Health System, which it acquired about one year ago. Moody’s negatively viewed Christus Health’s below average cash flow and liquidity metrics.

The outlook is stable, reflecting the health system’s continued efforts to stabilize operating performance.
