Labcorp CFO to retire, successor named

Labcorp Executive Vice President and CFO Glenn Eisenberg is retiring and will be succeeded by Julia Wang.

Ms. Wang will assume the role on Dec. 2, according to a Nov. 19 Labcorp news release. Mr. Eisenberg will remain at the company as a special advisor to the CEO through April to ensure a seamless transition in the CFO role and assist with strategic initiatives currently underway.

Ms. Wang joins the company from BeiGene, where she served as CFO. She previously held leadership roles at Quest Diagnostics. 

Mr. Eisenberg served as Labcorp’s CFO for 10 years. During his time at the company, it completed approximately 100 acquisitions. The company has acquired lab assets from several health systems in recent years, including Renton, Wash.-based Providence, Springfield, Mass.-based Baystate Health and Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health.
