Lafayette executive director Teresa Mitchell said the radiology practice sought documentation and coding expertise to help improve performance in the ICD-10 era.

“McKesson’s continuing documentation education is helping our staff adjust to the new world of ICD-10,” Ms. Mitchell said. “At the same time, we are benefitting greatly from McKesson’s long-standing expertise in radiology coding, billing, denial management and compliance.”

Lafayette is a community-based, eight-physician strong imaging practice affiliated with Franciscan St. Elizabeth Health, also in Lafayette.
