Illinois revenue cycle management firm to close, affecting 177 jobs

PrimeSource Health Care Systems notified employees the company is shutting down, affecting at least 177 workers across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Ohio.

Headquartered in Buffalo Grove, Ill., PrimeSource Healthcare Systems provided on-site mobile healthcare and billing services to regional healthcare organizations since 1982. It mainly served long-term care and retirement facilities, according to Inside Indiana Business.

PrimeSource Health Care Systems expects to implement the first round of job cuts Dec. 31.
