The $500,000 project, which is being funded by the Grandview Foundation, will include numerous technology enhancements and the addition of a community room that will provide health and wellness education.

This project is the latest in a string of recent investments for Grandview Medical Center. In 2013, the hospital completed a $40 million expansion that added 70,000 square feet and improved surgical services, patient flow and access. In 2015, the hospital started a $4.4 million build-out of formerly unused space, increasing the number of licensed beds to 344, according to the report.

Dayton, Ohio-based Kettering Health Network, of which Grandview Medical Center is a part, has also embarked on a series of construction projections. It is still working on its largest operation, the construction of a $49 million cancer center.
