The rate increase will generate 5 percent growth in patient service revenue over last year, hospital officials said in a prepared statement.
Froedtert will raise its hospitalization rates in an effort to match rates charged by some area hospitals, said Kathy Sieja, media relations director for Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin. “At Froedtert Hospital, current room charges have been significantly less than comparable hospitals in our market,” Ms. Sieja told Milwaukee Business Journal.
In the first nine months of its 2016 fiscal year, Froedtert reported total revenue of $1.51 billion compared to $1.41 billion for the same period in 2015.
