King of Prussia, Pa.-based Universal Health Services experienced the biggest drop — 6.02 percent. Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp. and Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Hospitals also saw sizable declines of 5.67 percent and 5.08 percent, respectively.
Additionally, Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems’ shares declined by 3.63 percent, and Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America experienced a slight 0.83 percent decrease.
