Up 13.8 percent last week, shares of Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems rose the most of any of the for-profit hospital operators.

  • Hospital Corporation of America (Nashville, Tenn.): $91.98 per share (up 8.98 percent).
  • LifePoint Health (Brentwood, Tenn.): $85.08 per share (up 10.25 percent).
  • Tenet Healthcare Corp. (Dallas): $58.02 per share (up 10.22 percent).
  • Universal Health Services (King of Prussia, Pa.): $143.41 per share (up 6.45 percent).
