Florida Hospital Fish Memorial starts $1.8M ED expansion

Florida Hospital Fish Memorial in Orange City, Fla., has started a $1.8 million emergency department expansion, according to a News-Journal report.

The expansion will add one new bed, convert the curtain room area to two private exam rooms and add a nine-bed observation area. The project will also include adding new floors and updating the nurses’ station.

Construction is slated to be completed by February 2015, according to the report.
