Fitch revises Mississippi Baptist Health System’s outlook to negative

Fitch Ratings has affirmed the “BBB” rating on Jackson-based Mississippi Baptist Health System’s following bonds:

  • $50.7 million of series 2015A revenue refunding bonds
  • $87 million of series 2007A revenue refunding bonds

The outlook is revised to negative from stable. The revision is based on several factors, including MBHS’ continued operating losses and decline in liquidity.
