Concurrently, Fitch assigned Northwell Health its “A-” issuer default rating.
The downgrade and assignment are a result of several positive and negative factors, including Northwell’s leading market share, stable profitability as well as its weaker liquidity metrics and elevated leverage position.
The outlook was revised from negative to stable.
