Fitch assigns ‘AA-‘ rating to Nebraska Medicine’s bonds

Fitch Ratings has assigned an “AA-” rating to Omaha-based Nebraska Medicine’s $149.6 million of series 2016 bonds and $130.4 million of series 2016 bonds.

The rating assignment is based on several factors, including Nebraska Medicine’s broad operating platform, low debt burden and physician integration.

The outlook is stable.
